How to Become a Norwegian Explorer

Some routes are so well-known that we refer to them without even thinking, like route to North or South Pole. If you consider to go for a truly original adventure, join us on an expedition to some of the world’s most remote polar lands on the MS Fram.

Original Fram (1882)

The original Fram was the most famous vessel of her time, and the achievements of its expeditions are unparalleled. The ship was a home to F. Nansen and R. Amundsen and every her move was followed by media and millions of enthusiasts.

Today, you can see Fram in the museum of the same name at Bygdøy, located on a short distance from the centre of Oslo and easily accessible by bus or, in the summer season, by ferry from the City Hall quayside.
